The Luthern Church, Missouri Synod, has begun this group of centers as part of their ministry Luthern Mission with Blind Persons.  Their goal is: "for training in the blind reaching out in mission to the world around them, as witnesses for the Gospel. It is an intensive, college equivalent type of training and outreach, leading to certifications in several areas."
